Alaska Native Heritage Center

 The Alaska Native Heritage Center is located on Heritage Drive on the outskirts of Anchorage. Take the Muldoon exit at Mile 4.4 off the Glenn Highway and follow the directional signs. The center was created back in 1988 by the Alaska Federation of Natives and is dedicated to preserving Native culture, as well as educating the public on the history of Native Alaska. It is open year-round, with various exhibitions, shows and exhibits. Admission fees range from $7-$23 with special rates for families and for Alaska residents. www.alaskanative.net
